Our Summer So Far: Highlights from MLVS Students

The summer has been eventful and enriching for the culinary students at Mission Language and Vocational School (MLVS). Here's a glimpse into their exciting activities:

MLVS culinary students showcased their skills at the vibrant Carnaval event, preparing and serving a variety of dishes while connecting with the community. They also had the honor of celebrating civil rights leader Dolores Huerta's birthday, an inspirational experience.

The students catered an event at 261 Union House, gaining valuable experience in planning, preparing, and serving a full menu. Additionally, they catered the Social Impact Partnership Firm Convening organized by San Francisco Power and Sewer, showcasing their skills in a professional setting and contributing to a community initiative.

We look forward to sharing more updates and highlights from these activities as our students continue to excel and grow.

Our M.A. students participated in activities with LTF, gaining hands-on experience in medical procedures and patient interaction. They also performed blood draws, building confidence and competence in this essential medical procedure. These experiences have been invaluable, helping our students grow and excel in their field. We look forward to sharing more updates and highlights from these activities.
